Traitors Star Charlotte Chilton Reveals New Boyfriend (04.05.2026)

The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton has unveiled her new boyfriend in a series of affectionate Instagram posts, expressing her joy and contentment. The 35-year-old reality television personality, who gained fame on the second season of the BBC show, has been at the centre of media attention over the past two years concerning the paternity of her daughter. She had persistently claimed that singer Conor Maynard is the father.

Two separate paternity tests have conclusively shown that the singer, who married last month, is not the biological father, despite Charlotte's ongoing assertions. While she had previously hinted at being in a relationship, over the weekend Charlotte shared tender selfies with her new partner, whom she has not named or tagged, as well as a photograph of him with her 19-month-old daughter, Penelope.

She accompanied the images with a heartfelt caption: 'The happiest of birthdays to the man I love !!! I never thought I would ever find someone I could fall this hard for and could make me feel like that giggling 16 year old with her first love… That could make me laugh… share my stupid and hyper energy… that is so thoughtful and so spontaneously good fun! I am truly blessed to have found my love and I’m so lucky to celebrate your special day with you today!!.. Here’s to the final day of your birthday weekend of surprises.'

Prior to this new romance and her brief involvement with Conor, Charlotte was married to Laura Chilton. The couple were together for seven years after meeting online. In June 2024, Laura broke her silence following Charlotte's announcement that she was five months pregnant with Penelope. The Traitors star claimed in a video that Conor had fathered her 'miracle' baby, which came after seven miscarriages, following their meeting at a wrap party for the BBC series earlier that year.

After the birth in October 2024, she alleged that the Can't Say No singer refused to acknowledge her daughter as his own. A paternity test subsequently found that Conor was not the father, but Charlotte claimed that an 'unidentified male was present' when his DNA sample was collected. She also alleged that Conor 'switched testing locations last minute' and that her own DNA was not taken.

The pair then underwent a second test, which definitively proved that Conor did not father Charlotte's daughter. This was followed by a statement from her representative, who told the Daily Mail: 'For those of you who have followed Charlotte's journey since her appearance on BBC's The Traitors, will know she has fought an extraordinary battle for truth and justice with heartfelt conviction. We are forever grateful to everyone who has shown unwavering love and support to Charlotte over the past 12 months. Special thanks must also go to Charlotte's rockstar legal advisors, Lorna McCammon (SFR Law) and Paul Lunt (Brabners) for their invaluable counsel and guidance. We could not have done this without you. Charlotte will now take time to process, heal and reflect and when she is ready, she will finally share her story in full.'

Conor, 33, recently married Kitty Bertrand, as the paternity dispute continued. Charlotte's estranged wife Laura claimed that they were still together when Charlotte slept with the singer in London. Laura, a telecommunications engineer, said she wanted to speak out after being hurt by Charlotte's comments about a previous 'toxic' relationship, and to clarify the timeline of their separation. Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Laura stated: 'Charlotte has stated in interviews that she was single and had been single since the filming of Traitors which wasn't the case at all. We were still in a relationship when she was filming the show.'
