A Florida couple who documented their life on the road in a motorhome have been found dead at a campsite in an apparent murder-suicide. Anissa Osborne, 56, and her husband Christopher Osborne, 51, were discovered with gunshot wounds inside their vehicle at Ocean Pond Campground in Osceola National Forest on Sunday.
The couple worked as hosts at the campsite, managing operations and assisting visitors since December. They were known for cheerfully sharing their travels on Facebook and Instagram under the banner of 'RV life'. Just months ago, Christopher paid tribute to his wife online, writing: 'My wife, my angel. I can't live without you.'
Baker County Sheriff's Office officers responded to a welfare check requested by other campers and found the bodies. Investigators believe Christopher shot Anissa before turning the gun on himself. The case is being investigated by the sheriff's office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the state Medical Examiner's Office.
Christopher's aunt, Sharon Alvarez, noted that his online declarations of love were typical. Laura Lorenzo Curry, Anissa's cousin, described her as 'a very, very happy, just a very kind of free spirit' with a 'vibrant, bubbly personality'. She added: 'We were so thrilled when we first met Chris because he was such a sweet soul. But sometimes sweet souls can have a lot of things we don't even know about.'
Another cousin, Deborah Helm Sells, expressed anger on Facebook but also forgiveness. Anissa's recent social media posts showed selfies with her husband and dogs, and a video of snowfall with a caption about slowing down and resetting. The couple had custom artwork commissioned for their home, reflecting their contentment with their lifestyle.
