Prince William Uses Disguises and Accents for Pub Nights

Prince William has been going to extraordinary lengths to avoid recognition during nights out with friends, according to a close friend. The Prince of Wales reportedly dons disguises, including growing or shaving off a beard, wearing hats and glasses, and occasionally adopting a Welsh accent to conceal his identity.

The revelation comes after William was seen celebrating Aston Villa's Europa League victory in Turkey last week, where he cheered, sang, and shed a tear alongside his lifelong friends. The group included Thomas van Straubenzee, Edward van Cutsem, and Ben Dawes, with the trip organised just weeks in advance.

The friend told the Daily Mail that the group's meetings are infrequent but cherished, often involving barbecues, beer, and wine. When they venture to a West London pub, William's disguises help him blend in. Discussions about his royal duties are strictly off-limits, with conversations focusing on family, careers, and sport.

The source added that William rarely lets his guard down, but these gatherings provide rare moments of relaxation. 'He's a 40-something bloke, well off, with a happy family, but all that currently waits for him is a metaphorical straitjacket and a very heavy crown,' the friend said.
