Niall Horan Backs Louis Tomlinson After Zayn Malik Punch

The ongoing feud between Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik has taken a new turn, with former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan apparently choosing sides. Niall Horan has demonstrated his allegiance to Louis following a reported altercation between the two former band members. Louis Tomlinson was allegedly punched by Zayn Malik while they were filming a now-cancelled TV series.

The documentary was intended to explore Zayn and Louis bonding over their memories of their rapid rise to fame after The X Factor. However, the project quickly descended into chaos, leaving Louis with cuts and a concussion. Now, Niall appears to have thrown his support firmly behind Louis in the wake of the alleged incident. As a gesture of solidarity, Niall attended Louis's recent concert in Paris.

Louis reportedly told the crowd that Niall's presence at the show meant a great deal to him. Footage captured by concertgoers and shared on TikTok shows Louis saying: 'I also wanna say I've got a mate in the house today, somewhere around there. So, yeah, shout-out to you Niall. Appreciate you coming today man, that means a lot. Thank you very much.'

Louis was said to be stunned when Zayn allegedly struck him. A source told The Sun that Louis was shocked by a comment Zayn made, and when he tried to move away, Zayn attacked him. The insider stated: 'Zayn punched him straight in the face.' They added: 'He was pulled away, and Louis was taken for medical treatment. This happened outside in front of so many people. It was shocking.'

Neither Louis nor Zayn has publicly addressed the allegations. However, fans hoping for a One Direction reunion are likely disappointed by the fallout. Louis, 34, has also unfollowed Zayn on social media. Zayn recently discussed his past behaviour in an interview, saying he has moved away from his 'brash arrogance' and now handles situations differently. He explained: 'It allows you to love everybody... They can express their ideas to you, and you're a lot more receptive of what they're saying.'

Zayn also revealed he has been hospitalised and was forced to postpone several upcoming shows. He shared details of his mystery health issue on social media, posting a photo of himself connected to a machine and thanking cardiologists for their care. He had been scheduled to promote his fifth studio album, Konnakol, with events including an album playback and Q&A at Banquet Records in Kingston, which has now been postponed.
