Netflix has quietly added a new season of its true-crime documentary series 'Worst Ex Ever', with all four episodes now available to stream. The series, from the creators of 'Worst Roommate Ever', explores cases of domestic abuse, murder plots, and torment through interviews and re-enactments.
The second season plunges viewers into the case of a killer who shares a name with a Marvel superhero. The first episode features Kelly Matthews, who fell in love with a man she knew as Steven, only to discover his real name is Wade Wilson—also the name of Marvel's Deadpool character, leading to his moniker as the 'Deadpool Killer'.
Viewers have expressed fury on social media. On Reddit, one wrote: 'OMG, that police officer in the first episode made my blood boil!' Another said: 'Just finished the first episode I’m sooooo mad.' On Facebook, a viewer commented: 'Great series. Good luck sleeping after binge watching that.'
Despite the anger, the series has drawn positive reviews for giving victims a voice. One IMDb reviewer called it 'harrowing at times but absolutely worth a watch', while another said it was 'scary, better than Roommate series'. A third described it as 'disturbing, powerful, and impossible to ignore'.
