Meghan Markle Hints at End of 'Hardest Seven Years' in Cryptic Posts
Meghan Markle Hints at End of 'Hardest Seven Years'

Meghan Markle has suggested that the 'hardest seven years' of her life are coming to an end in a series of cryptic Instagram stories. The Duchess of Sussex reshared two astrology-related posts on her account, one of which showed two men dancing with the caption: 'Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius ending the hardest seven years of their lives on April 25th.'

Astrology Posts Spark Speculation

With Meghan born on August 4, 1981, her star sign is Leo. The last seven years have been dramatic for the Duchess, as in that time she has welcomed her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as well as quit her royal role along with husband Prince Harry. After they sensationally quit the UK, the couple went on to criticise their royal exit and hit out at how they were not supported.

The post came just after she shared another about her horoscope. Cryptically, it read: 'The tension between who you actually are and what the world around you was willing to see has been exhausting in a way that is hard to explain to people who have not lived it. Your confidence took hits it had no business taking. You questioned your creative direction, your spotlight, your worth. April 25th, the pressure lifts. You get the space to just exist without fighting for it.'

Recent Australia Trip

Meghan is fresh from a much-debated trip to Australia with husband Harry, where they combined traditional charitable visits with commercial opportunities. She ruffled feathers on the trip after posting photos of the outfits she wore on charitable engagements on an online shopping platform. The Duchess has invested in the company OneOff, which describes itself as a 'style-driven fashion discovery platform'. The site includes purchasing links to a host of celebrities' clothes, and it is believed Meghan is receiving a share of sales.

While many of her outfits from throughout the four-day visit were posted to the app, one particular ensemble received a wave of criticism. A photo was shared to the app of Meghan visiting the site of the Bondi terror attacks, with links for fans to purchase what she wore to the Sydney beach.

Comments on Bullying and Social Media

Meanwhile, during a visit to a mental health programme in Melbourne, she told how she was 'bullied and attacked' every day for 10 years on social media and was 'the most trolled person in the entire world'. Meghan made the comments during a discussion with young people associated with the Australian mental health organisation Batyr at Melbourne's Swinburne University of Technology. Speaking in a classroom, Meghan said social media companies were 'not incentivised to stop'. 'And I can speak to that really personally, which is why I like to listen, because it rings true for me in a very real way,' she said. 'For now, 10 years, every day for 10 years, I have been bullied and attacked. And I was the most trolled person in the entire world.' The duchess added: 'Now, I'm still here. And when I think of all of you and what you're experiencing, I think so much of that is having to realise that you know that industry, that billion-dollar industry, that is completely anchored and predicated on cruelty to get clicks – that's not going to change. So you have to be stronger than that.'
