Love Island contestant Lorenzo Alessi has been given guidance after making offensive remarks towards his partner Jasmine Muller. The business owner labelled Jasmine as 'promiscuous' and a 'sassy b***h' shortly after meeting her in the villa. Jasmine rejected both descriptions, asking to be called a 'baddie' instead, but Lorenzo expressed reluctance, prompting her to question why the offensive term felt more natural to him.
Former Love Island star Kaz Kamwi commented on the incident, advising Lorenzo to think before speaking. 'I like Lorenzo so much but we need to stop putting that foot in mouth,' she said. 'I don't want him to go home but I would love to have a megaphone and say we quickly need to decide what we're going to say before we speak.'
This season also introduced a new twist: for the first time, the islanders arrived at the villa in the evening rather than during the day. Kaz praised the change, noting that the female contestants could wear sexy outfits without worrying about their makeup melting in the sun.
In Monday's episode, two new bombshells, Yasmin Hadlow and George Knight, entered the villa and were given a secret task by host Maya Jama: to select two islanders for departure within 24 hours. Executive producer Lewis Evans hinted at further twists ahead, including new challenges and additional beds in the villa to accommodate more bombshells.
