A British tyre company with decades of history and a strong local reputation has been forced into liquidation, despite maintaining dozens of five-star customer reviews. Loughton Tyres, based in Essex, entered liquidation earlier this month, according to a notice published in the London Gazette.

The tyre garage, which was first registered in December 1987, appointed liquidators on April 2, with resolutions to wind up the business taking effect that same day. Creditors were notified, and Ninos Koumettou and Constantinos Pedhiou were named as joint liquidators. The notice was published on the evening of April 15. It remains unclear how many jobs could be affected by the closure.
