King Charles III has been named in the latest batch of court documents released by the US Justice Department relating to deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein. The documents, made public on Friday, include references to the monarch, as well as other prominent figures such as Elon Musk and Prince Andrew.
The files contain hundreds of mentions of Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles by King Charles in late 2025. Among the correspondence are an invitation for Epstein to dine at Buckingham Palace, an offer to introduce Prince Andrew to a 26-year-old Russian woman, and photos appearing to show the prince kneeling over an unidentified woman.
Elon Musk is referenced in email exchanges from 2012 and 2013 discussing a potential visit to Epstein's Caribbean island. Musk has denied ever visiting, stating on X in 2025: "Epstein tried to get me to go to his island and I REFUSED."
Other notable names include New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch, mentioned over 400 times, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who visited Epstein's island with his family in 2012. Google co-founder Sergey Brin also appears in emails arranging meetings with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
None of the men have been charged with any crime related to the investigation. Epstein was convicted in 2008 of procuring a child for prostitution and was facing sex trafficking charges when he died in 2019.
