Katie Price has declared she is “not stupid” when it comes to her husband Lee Andrews, after travelling to Dubai to secure his release from prison. The 48-year-old married the businessman earlier this year within days of meeting him, sparking widespread concern.
Andrews was due to appear with Price on Good Morning Britain last month but failed to show. Price initially claimed he was missing before it emerged he had been detained at Al Awir prison in Dubai on espionage allegations. In a new interview, Price revealed that Andrews eventually admitted to having a travel ban, which she said made her “look like a d**k”.
Price said she will confront him face-to-face: “I’m not a mug and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him. And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done.” She added that she would “just get on with my life”.
While in Dubai, Price met Andrews’ ex-partner Dina and recorded a podcast episode with her. Price said her “eyes have been opened” but urged other exes to stop warning her about Andrews. She remains in Dubai as Andrews’ release reportedly requires a £140,000 payment, which she has refused to pay.
