Katie Price has taken to social media to share a series of cryptic late-night posts, raising questions about whether they relate to her husband Lee Andrews, who has been reported missing. The 47-year-old former glamour model posted three messages on Instagram Stories early Thursday morning, May 21, leaving fans speculating about their meaning.
First Post: Handling Overwhelm
The first image featured text that read: "I'M NOT OVERWHELMED BECAUSE I CAN'T HANDLE IT. I'M OVERWHELMED BECAUSE I DO HANDLE IT. ALL. OF. IT." It continued: "ALL. THE. F**KING. TIME." This post appeared to address the emotional toll of the situation.
Second Post: Acceptance
Her second post was more reflective, quoting: "Sometimes you just have to accept the situation and say, it's okay, it happens, it's life." This message could be interpreted as a call for resignation amid the ongoing mystery.
Third Post: Self-Focus
The final post read: "Focus on yourself, because nothing is more powerful than a woman who knows her worth, chases her goals, and dares to dream big." This seemed to encourage self-empowerment, possibly hinting at Katie's emotional state.
Katie has not heard from Lee, a 43-year-old Dubai-based businessman, since last Wednesday evening. She raised the alarm last Thursday, stating that Lee's location went off at 10:03 PM while he was trying to cross the border at Hatta. "That's the last contact anyone has had – his family and myself. This is the third day now," she said at the time.
Investigator Doubts
Despite the serious claims of a kidnapping, investigative journalist Mark Williams-Thomas has expressed skepticism. Known for his work on high-profile missing persons cases, he questioned the narrative. "Katie Price says she spoke to him on Wednesday, and shortly after 10 o'clock he was in the back of a van. He says they're coming back. He had a hood over his head, his hands were tied, but he managed to make a FaceTime call to her and didn't tell her to phone the police. And he himself didn't phone the police," Mark noted. He also pointed out that Lee's phone has gone silent, though someone has deleted social media posts, calling it "slightly strange."
Mark accused Lee of "playing some ridiculous game" and suggested the situation is far simpler than an abduction. "Clearly this is a man who's got some serious issues," he added.
Official Status
Despite the doubts, Lee is still considered missing by the UK Government. The Foreign Office has confirmed it is providing assistance to his family after a missing persons report was filed. Lee's whereabouts remain unknown.
