Katie Price has made her first post on Instagram after her account was temporarily suspended, celebrating with family photos as her husband Lee Andrews prepares to be released from a desert jail.
Account Restored After Investigation
The former glamour model, who has 2.6 million followers, saw her account deleted last week following an investigation into her activity. She feared losing all her followers permanently after the account disappeared shortly after her 'missing' husband was found in Dubai.
However, full access has been restored, and she marked the moment with several family snaps. Her first Story showed her eldest son Harvey, who turned 24, as they celebrated his birthday weekend. She then shared a glimpse inside the family camper van, with Junior driving and Princess in the back, captioning the posts: "the best of times with my beautiful children."
Reason for Suspension
Reports indicate that Meta executives deleted the account while investigating complaints about her posts, specifically regarding her promotion of CBD products, which allegedly involved "flashing a boob." Although the investigation cleared her of wrongdoing, there were initial fears the account could not be recovered, forcing her to start from scratch with zero followers.
A source told The Sun: "Katie is furious. It's absolutely ridiculous that she's had her account deactivated after spending years building it up and gaining over two and a half million followers. She was previously told it would be back up and running, and now they're saying she might have to start from scratch."
Timing with Husband's Disappearance
The account's disappearance coincided with Katie using it to update fans on her husband Lee Andrews' 'disappearance'. She had posted updates insisting he was missing, saying: "Hey everyone, I don't really know where to begin, but something really, really serious has happened. Lee has been missing for three days."
Some speculated the deletion was linked to Lee being found, but a source debunked this, stating Meta took the page down after complaints from "miserable keyboard warriors."
Lee Andrews is now set to be freed from a desert jail, as reported by Katie in her posts.
