Juventus Denies Mo Salah Transfer Talks Amid Liverpool Exit

Juventus have disputed claims that they have initiated talks to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian forward is poised to end his remarkable tenure at Anfield this summer, leaving as a free agent despite having a year remaining on his contract.

Juventus Deny Negotiations

Sporting director Marco Ottolini rejected reports suggesting the Serie A giants had opened exploratory discussions with Salah’s representatives. Speaking to 365Scores, Ottolini stated: "What is being said about negotiations for Mohamed Salah is not true. At the moment, there is absolutely nothing regarding that."

Salah's Future Uncertain

Salah, 33, has attracted interest from Saudi clubs, while other European sides have been linked. However, his agent, Ramy Abass Issa, clarified last month that no decision has been made. "We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows," he said on social media.

Salah has a maximum of five games left for Liverpool, with only three remaining at Anfield. He recently scored in the Merseyside derby at Hill Dickinson Stadium, leaving a lasting impression.

Van Dijk Praises Salah

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk praised Salah, saying: "He is so important for us, on and off the pitch. The appreciation sometimes comes when players are gone, but we appreciate him so much. He is an outstanding teammate. He will still be important for the last five games, and then it will be emotional for him and his family, but for us as well."

Salah will aim to feature this weekend as Liverpool push for a Champions League spot. Arne Slot’s side sit fifth, three points behind Aston Villa, ahead of a clash with Crystal Palace.
