Jeremy Clarkson reveals 400 pint glasses stolen from his pub weekly

Jeremy Clarkson has disclosed that his Oxfordshire pub, The Farmer's Dog, loses 400 pint glasses to theft each week. The revelation comes in the new season of Clarkson's Farm, premiering on 3 June on Prime Video.

The TV personality also revealed that customers have stolen cooking oil, light bulbs, and even urinal traps. 'Just last night, somebody stole £200 worth of cooking oil – and that’s not the maddest thing that gets nicked from here,' he said. He added that light bulbs are taken daily from the bathroom, and urinal traps – plumbing fixtures that prevent odours – have had to be screwed down to prevent theft.

Clarkson opened The Farmer's Dog in Asthall, formerly The Windmill, in August 2024. He bought the pub for less than £1m. The pub features in the Prime Video series alongside his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat farm.

In the new season, Clarkson also discusses a health scare. In October 2024, he underwent a heart procedure after experiencing chest tightness and pins and needles. Doctors told him he was days away from a heart attack due to blocked arteries, which he attributed to the stress of opening the pub. 'I’m back and not dead,' he told farm hand Kaleb Cooper.
