Newly released FBI documents from the Jeffrey Epstein case have revealed detailed allegations from a woman who claims she was directed to massage Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor at the convicted sex offender's New York residence. The woman, whose identity remains redacted in the December 2020 document, described being "quite shocked" to encounter the former duke in Epstein's kitchen alongside another young woman.
Incident at Epstein's New York Home
The woman, who grew up in Brazil and was previously abused by Epstein, told investigators she visited the financier's New York property where the encounter occurred. According to her account, Epstein introduced her to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, mentioning her massage skills before instructing her to massage the former royal's shoulders and back.
Reciprocal Massage Described
After she complied with Epstein's request, the document states that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor then told the woman it was her turn to receive a massage. The former duke proceeded to massage her back, shoulders, waist, and hands while everyone remained fully clothed throughout the exchange.
The woman emphasized to investigators that she "just wanted to leave" during the encounter. Epstein reportedly left the room briefly and returned with a camera before the massages concluded.
Subsequent Assault Attempt
Following the massage exchange, Epstein allegedly took the woman to a separate room away from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the other young woman present. According to the FBI document, Epstein then "pushed her against the wall trying to take her top off" while telling her he wanted to take her picture.
The woman told investigators she refused to remove her clothing but permitted Epstein to take a photograph. Epstein then questioned her about her marriage, suggesting it could be "boring" and that she "could do well in London" with opportunities for them to "do things together."
Context of Recent Developments
These revelations emerge amid ongoing scrutiny of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's connections to Epstein. Last month, the former duke was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations he shared sensitive information with the convicted sex offender while serving as the UK's trade envoy.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor spent approximately eleven hours in police custody in February as authorities conducted searches at his residence on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk and his former home, Royal Lodge in Windsor, Berkshire. He was subsequently released pending further investigation.
Historical Background and Denials
The former royal served as the United Kingdom's special representative for international trade and investment from 2001 until 2011, when he stepped down amid mounting controversy surrounding his friendship with Epstein. While Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any wrongdoing regarding his associations with the convicted sex offender, he has not directly addressed these specific allegations detailed in the FBI documents.
This latest disclosure follows previous revelations from the Epstein files, including a separate document containing a photograph that appears to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor touching a fully-clothed woman's abdomen. The exact timing of the massage incident described in the FBI document remains unclear, though it represents another troubling account from Epstein's victims regarding the financier's powerful associates.
