Erin McNaught has confirmed her engagement to her boyfriend Stace Cadet, nearly four years after her split from English rapper ex-husband Example. The 43-year-old Australian model shared the joyful news on social media on Tuesday with a heartfelt post celebrating the occasion.
Mother's Day Proposal
One precious photograph captured Stace tenderly embracing Erin as she showcased her eye-popping diamond engagement ring. Another image revealed Stace's heartfelt Mother's Day proposal, featuring a child's shirt emblazoned with the words, 'Will you marry Daddy?' among decorative balloons and gifts. Erin's enormous diamond sparkler was impossible to miss, catching the light from every angle as it glittered on her finger.
She captioned the gallery with exciting words: 'Mother's Day - 10/5/26. With our three beautiful boys by our sides, Stasi asked me to be his wife. I couldn't be any happier. I said yes, obvs. I love you infinitely. Beyond excited for our future adventures, whatever they may bring.'

Son Obi's Brain Tumour Battle
Last year, Erin and her partner shared the devastating news that their baby son Obi had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. The couple, who welcomed their first child together in October 2024, issued an emotional joint statement expressing their anguish over Obi's health battle. 'For the last few weeks we have noticed a rapid decline in Obi's behaviour and happiness,' the statement began. 'He was having problems eating, sleeping and most recently, keeping his head straight.'
They explained that after noticing the worrying changes, they took Obi for an MRI scan under the advice of their doctor, which revealed a large tumour on the right side of his brain. In July of last year, Erin shared a health update after Obi underwent surgery to remove the tumour. 'It's one month today since Obi had surgery to remove a massive brain tumour that he was only diagnosed with a few days prior,' she wrote on Instagram.
She recalled the day of the surgery: 'I stood on the balcony and watched the sunrise and sobbed so hard I couldn't breathe. The thought that this sunrise might be the last one we saw with him still here on this earth was unbearable. When he made it through the surgery, we returned to the balcony and watched the sunset, and we cried again together.' Since then, Erin noted, 'Obi has blown us away with his recovery. Day by day, achieving more and more.'
Example's New Relationship
In March 2023, it was reported that musician Example had found love five months after announcing his split from Erin. The star, real name Elliot Gleave, 43, is dating art advisor Daisy Cox from London, who has been living with him in Australia. The 'Kickstarts' singer shared a snap of his kids and wrote, 'Both my kids, myself and my new girlfriend are obsessed with FIFA.' Posting a loved-up snap with Daisy, he added, 'talking of the new girlfriend... more on her another time...' Example also shared a photo of himself with Erin and Daisy, who look very alike, writing, 'In case anyone is wondering how me and Erin are doing… We are still besties.'
In October 2022, Example told fans that their romance came to a 'natural end' after 11 years together and confirmed that he and Erin would continue co-parenting their sons Evander, ten, and Ennio, eight. The couple became engaged in 2012 and married in 2013.
