New photographs contained within the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents appear to depict Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in a compromising position with an unidentified woman. The images, published by the US Department of Justice on Friday as part of a vast three-million-document disclosure, show the royal crouched over a woman on the floor in one frame, while another angle suggests physical contact with her abdomen.
Undated Images Add to Royal Pressure
The photographs lack captions, dates, or location details, but their emergence is expected to intensify scrutiny of the Duke of York's association with the convicted sex offender. Andrew has consistently denied any misconduct, yet these visual records arrive amidst a backdrop of persistent public and media questioning regarding the nature of his friendship with the late financier.
Email Exchanges Detail Palace Invitations
Accompanying the images are numerous email correspondences that further illuminate the relationship. One notable exchange from September 2010 reveals Andrew inviting Epstein to a private dinner at Buckingham Palace, citing the promise of "lots of privacy." Epstein's response, riddled with typographical errors, agrees and mentions a need for "private time." It remains unclear whether this palace meeting ultimately occurred.
Further correspondence shows Epstein acting as an intermediary, proposing a dinner between Andrew and a "beautiful" 26-year-old Russian woman in August 2010. The Duke's replies express enthusiasm for the meeting, requesting details about what Epstein had told the woman and confirming she had his contact information.
Ghislaine Maxwell's Communications Revealed
The document trove also includes emails involving Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former associate now serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking. In a 2002 exchange with an individual using the alias "The Invisible Man" and signing emails as "A," plans to visit Epstein's private island are discussed. The sender contemplates opting to spend time with "Sarah and the kids" instead, a decision Maxwell accepts, though she notes the island party would include "five stunning red heads."
Birthday Party Invitation and Legal Aftermath
Additional records confirm that Epstein was invited to Andrew's 50th birthday celebration at St James's Palace in February 2010. The invitation, sent by the Duke's then-private secretary on behalf of his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, and their daughters, was declined by Epstein with a brief "Not able" response.
This latest document release follows previous disclosures and occurs against the ongoing legal shadow cast over Andrew. He settled a civil sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre in 2022 for a reported multi-million sum, while maintaining his denial of the allegations. The King subsequently removed Andrew's military affiliations and royal patronages, and he no longer uses the style His Royal Highness.
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges; his death was officially ruled a suicide. The continuous unveiling of documents related to his network ensures that associated figures, including members of the British royal family, remain under intense international scrutiny.
