Doja Cat has publicly criticised Elon Musk over the removal of the audio post feature on X, referring to the platform’s owner as a “frog build looking bitch” and a “barrel chested ewok”. The singer posted on Wednesday asking Musk to reinstate the feature, but her request was accompanied by personal insults.
“Hey Elon if u see this please put the audio post feature back on here,” she wrote. “Thanks, u frog build looking bitch. Barrel chested ewok u look like u eat sand.” The audio post feature, which allowed users to share voice notes, appears to have been discontinued in early 2025, based on user complaints. Voice memos can still be sent via direct messages.
Musk acquired X, formerly Twitter, in October 2022 and quickly replaced senior executives. Since then, monthly users have fallen by about 15% and ad revenue has dropped 54%. In May, Musk paid a $1.5 million civil penalty to settle an SEC lawsuit over failing to disclose his Twitter stock purchases before the acquisition.
This is not the first time a pop star has targeted Musk online. In November 2025, Billie Eilish called him a “fucking pathetic pussy bitch coward” for not donating his wealth to humanitarian causes. Musk’s net worth is estimated at $826 billion by Forbes.
