The 43-year-old ex-fiancée of Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, is reportedly enjoying a blossoming friendship with Brett Ratner, 57, the director of the recent film about Melania Trump.
Friendship or Romance?
Sources close to the pair claim they are 'going out together and have been seen at parties.' However, Dara insists the relationship is not romantic, stating: 'We are only friends. We were both invited to the same event. We did not go together.' Ratner has declined to comment.
Brett Ratner's Controversial Past
Ratner, known for directing the Rush Hour film series and being President Donald Trump's favourite director, has been 'cancelled' since 2017 after numerous women in Hollywood accused him of rape and sexual assault. He denied the allegations and emigrated to Israel. Additionally, Ratner has been tainted by association with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Photos released as part of the Epstein files showed Ratner posing with Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel, and on a sofa with Epstein and two young women. Ratner claims he 'didn't have a personal relationship' with Epstein and met him only once.
