Craig Charles Explains Adam Thomas' Absence from This Morning

Craig Charles has addressed Adam Thomas's absence from This Morning, explaining that the former Emmerdale star was not present due to the emotional impact of bullying during I'm A Celebrity South Africa.

During Friday's episode of the ITV programme, Craig appeared alongside Mo Farah and Harry Redknapp to discuss their experiences in the jungle. However, Adam was notably absent, prompting Craig to clarify the reason.

Speaking with visible concern, Craig stated: "The guys have asked to address why Adam is not here. I'm a bit nervous about this." He explained that since returning, there had been speculation on social media about the trio not supporting Adam during his time in the camp.

Craig detailed how the camp was divided into two teams, with Harry Redknapp leading Team Lion and Jimmy Bullard leading Team Rhino. He described "banter" between the groups, particularly between David Haye and Adam, but admitted they did not realise Adam was being emotionally affected.

"We didn't realise that he was being emotionally affected by it because he never told us. I asked him yesterday, 'Why didn't you tell us?' and he said, 'Well, I didn't want to appear weak,'" Craig said. He added that ITV has a "duty of care" and felt producers should have intervened.

Adam later posted on Instagram, stating that David Haye's behaviour "broke me in there" and pushed him to his limits. He confirmed that David had apologised and that he has moved on.
