Jeremy Clarkson Credits Phone Scroll for Saving His Life from Heart Attack

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that scrolling on his phone inadvertently saved his life, as he was 'days' away from a fatal heart attack. The Clarkson's Farm star opened up about the terrifying health scare in the new series of his Amazon Prime show, which includes scenes of him in hospital.

In the first episode of season five, Clarkson is shown explaining the drama to farm manager Kaleb Cooper. He said: 'I was scrolling on my phone. If I hadn’t been doing that I wouldn’t have got pins and needles in my arm and if I hadn’t got pins and needles, I wouldn’t have gone: "Hang on, am I having a heart problem?" and wouldn’t have gone to hospital.'

Clarkson underwent life-saving heart surgery in October 2024 after doctors found one artery totally blocked and others severely clogged. He told The Sun: 'I had no idea, no idea at all. I just thought, "Well, I am working very hard."'
