Charlotte Crosby Reveals Baby Plans After Silent Miscarriage Heartbreak
Charlotte Crosby's Baby Plans After Silent Miscarriage

Charlotte Crosby has spoken candidly about her family plans after suffering a devastating silent miscarriage. The Geordie Shore star, 36, who shares two daughters with fiancé Jake Ankers, revealed she lost her baby two months ago following a six-week scan.

Understanding the Silent Miscarriage

After an agonising two-week wait, Charlotte's doctor confirmed it “wasn’t an active pregnancy” and that she had “silently miscarried”. A missed or silent miscarriage occurs when the baby has not developed but has not been physically miscarried. Speaking to This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard last week, Charlotte admitted she wasn't sure if she would be able to have more children. However, she reassured followers that her experience was “luckily, completely normal”.

Hopes for Baby Number Three

In a new social media Q&A, Charlotte told fans about her hopes for the future. Holding an ovulation test, she said: “I’ve purchased these. I’ve never tracked my ovulation properly! So I’d like to get in the swing of it! We are praying we are lucky enough to have baby number three! But I don’t think we will try until July.”

Revealing that her daughters, Alba Jean, three, and Pixi, 15 months, were “beautiful surprises”, she continued: “We didn’t try for either of our girls! They were complete surprises! Beautiful surprises! The best surprises that have ever happened to us! Our worlds!”

Wedding Plans and Future Dreams

Opening up about her plans with Jake, she said: “I have lots of dreams and goals… For me personally my dream is to have more kids and get married. I cannot wait to marry this gorgeous man. The love of my life! Nothing’s on hold! What’s happened has made us realise we need to get moving!”

She added: “This year we plan to go see our dream venue! And hopefully secure the date! I’m just very excited about marrying him. He really is the best man in the world. I love him with all my heart.” Charlotte added: “We’ve got a date in our mind! But we need to make sure the venue is free for that date or we may be totally screwed!”

Career Aspirations

The reality star has a string of TV shows under her belt but said she'd still love to do “one more big TV show”, as she revealed: “Career-wise I’d love to do one more big tv show…. @imacelebrity @ukthetraitors @bbcstrictly would be the absolute dream!”
