Cat Deeley is reportedly open to dating again, almost a year after her separation from husband Patrick Kielty. The couple, who married in 2012, announced their split in summer 2025, vowing to maintain a positive co-parenting relationship for their two sons, Milo and James.
A close friend of the This Morning presenter told The Sun that Deeley is embracing single life and has become more open in both her professional and personal life. 'There's just a lightness to her now,' the source said. 'She's saying yes to things she might have dismissed in the past, especially with work but also in her real life off screen.'
The friend added that Deeley has been filming brand projects at home, a significant step given her previously private home life with Kielty. 'She's even letting people see more of her home life inside her house,' the source noted. 'She is just more relaxed with herself.'
Regarding dating, the friend revealed that Deeley is not opposed to the idea but is taking a cautious approach. 'She is open to dating again, definitely, but it has to feel right,' the source said. 'She likes the idea of what's out there, a bit of flirting, a bit of fun, without any pressure.' The friend mentioned that Deeley might consider the dating app Raya but is not actively pursuing it.
Deeley's social life has also flourished, with the star prioritising time with friends. 'Her loved ones are helping her live life to the fullest,' the source said. The friend described Deeley as 'glowing' and 'genuinely happy,' attributing her transformation to feeling more in control of her life. 'It really does feel like a whole new chapter for Cat,' the source concluded.
