Brooklyn Beckham is embarking on a new culinary venture, launching a burger company named Beck's Buns. The 26-year-old, who resides in Los Angeles with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, has reportedly secured backing from his billionaire father-in-law, Nelson Peltz. The news marks a departure from his previously stated ambition to open a British-style pub in the US.
According to reports, the trademark for Beck's Buns is owned by Brooklyn's company Buster Sauce Inc, and plans are underway for a restaurant. While the menu is still being finalised, it is expected to feature high-quality burgers complemented by his signature Buster hot sauces. Brooklyn has also been promoting his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23, which is stocked at the upmarket Los Angeles supermarket Erewhon.
Brooklyn had earlier spoken of his desire to open a pub in Los Angeles, telling Variety in 2022 that the city "needs a pub". He suggested locations such as Beverly Hills or Brentwood, serving "a healthier version of comfort food". In a GQ interview this July, he reiterated an interest in introducing British fare to the US, mentioning fish and chips, pie and mash, and beans on toast as childhood favourites.
The burger venture has reignited talk of the ongoing rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Reports suggest the Peltz-Beckhams have distanced themselves from Beckham family events, including renewing their wedding vows in August without any of Brooklyn's relatives present. A source told The Sun that the couple have "quit" the Beckham family, leaving David and Victoria reportedly "heartbroken" over the feud.
