Bonnie Langford, the beloved actress, dancer and singer, has a family full of showbiz talent. The 61-year-old, who grew up in Surrey, is best known for roles in Just William, Doctor Who and EastEnders, but her relatives also boast impressive careers.
Langford's ex-husband is actor Paul Grunert, known for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Death Defying Acts and MI-5. The couple met in 1987 while performing in a musical, married in Mauritius in 1995 and welcomed daughter Bibi in 2000. They separated amicably in 2015, with a source telling The Sun: 'Bonnie split from her husband quite some time ago, and it is very amicable and they remain good friends.'
The star is also aunt to four highly accomplished nieces: Zizi, Saskia, Summer and Scarlett Strallen. They are the daughters of Langford's sister, Cherida Langford, and have all found success on stage and screen. Zizi currently plays Glinda in the West End's Wicked, while Summer has performed in Love Never Dies and The Sound of Music, and appeared in Hollyoaks and Doctors. Saskia trained at RADA, and Scarlett has played Mary Poppins on Broadway, in London and Australia.
Langford continues to perform, with a scheduled appearance on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch today (17 May).
