Asylum seekers guilty of Brighton beach rape

Three asylum seekers have been found guilty of raping a woman on Brighton beach in an attack described by the judge as 'cynical, predatory and callous'. Ibrahim Alshafe, 25, Abdulla Ahmadi, 26, and Karin Al-Danasurt, 20, were convicted at Hove Crown Court on Thursday.

The victim became separated from her friends during a night out and was attacked on the beach. The court heard that the men took advantage of her vulnerability in a coordinated assault.

This is a breaking news story and further details will be released as they become available.
