Alan Shearer has shared his Premier League predictions for the upcoming gameweek, highlighting crucial matches as Arsenal aim to strengthen their title bid against West Ham. The league leaders travel to the London Stadium on Sunday, while title rivals Manchester City host Brentford the day before.
Shearer expects Liverpool to defeat Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday, citing Chelsea's poor form and internal turmoil. He described Chelsea's performance against Nottingham Forest as 'abysmal' and believes Liverpool will secure Champions League football with a win. Meanwhile, Brighton are tipped to bounce back from their defeat to Newcastle by beating Wolves at home.
Bournemouth, who have impressed with their recruitment, are predicted to take all three points at Fulham. Shearer noted the uncertainty surrounding Fulham's manager situation. Manchester United are expected to maintain their focus and beat Sunderland, as Shearer hopes they will continue to play for manager Erik ten Hag's authority.
Shearer also backed Manchester City to rebound from dropping points against Everton by defeating Brentford at the Etihad. Other predictions include Aston Villa overcoming a poor performance against Spurs to beat Burnley, and a draw between Tottenham and Leeds in Monday's clash.
