Erika Kirk has forcefully denied rumors that she is in a new relationship, just eight months after the tragic death of her husband, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The 31-year-old businesswoman took to X to refute claims made by the account Project Constitution, which alleged she was seen with Blake Wynn, nephew of casino magnate Steve Wynn, at a Beverly Hills hotel earlier this month.
Erika's Firm Denial
In a direct response on X, Erika stated, "Every single word here is a lie." She continued, "Charlie's love will last me a lifetime. The Lord is the only one who can ever fill that most painful void." She clarified that on the date in question, May 14, she was at home in Arizona celebrating her son's second birthday. She also noted that Wynn, who is about to be engaged to his longtime girlfriend, was a dear friend of her late husband and that she is grateful for his support, just like many others.
Erika further condemned the account, writing, "Your deranged obsession with me and blatant disregard for any form of truth whatsoever is deeply disturbing and I am praying you get the help you so clearly need. Brush off the Dorito dust and go touch grass."
Blake Wynn's Response
Blake Wynn also stepped in to deny the rumors, responding on X: "I hate to be the bearer of bad news to the cesspool of bots and X users that spend their entire day making things up under the guise of journalism, but I am not dating Erika Kirk."
Background on Charlie Kirk's Death
Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at age 31 during a Turning Point USA speaking engagement at Utah Valley University. He and Erika had two children together, a son and a daughter. Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah resident accused of killing the MAGA commentator, has been charged with aggravated murder, along with multiple other charges including felony discharge of a firearm, witness tampering, and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child. Robinson's preliminary hearing has been moved to July 6 through July 10, due to the extensive evidence still under review in this high-profile death penalty case.
Erika's Public Role
Since her husband's death, Erika has risen to prominence in Republican media circles, taking over Turning Point USA and continuing to promote its conservative Christian message. Earlier this month, she shared a heartfelt tribute to Charlie on what would have been their fifth wedding anniversary. On Instagram, she wrote, "When I stood at that altar with you, we made a covenant with God. Two becoming one with the Lord Himself at the center of our vows, binding us under the eternal." She added, "Even though our kids won't see our love 'grow old together' from an earthly standpoint; they'll see it from a Heavenly one. And I'll tell them of our love story any moment I can."
