Tony Hawk Denies Epstein Island Wedding Claims as 'Narrative of Nonsense'

Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has strongly denied allegations that he was married on Jeffrey Epstein's island, dismissing the claims as a 'narrative of nonsense'. The 57-year-old was mentioned in a recently released Department of Justice file related to the late convicted paedophile.

The document, an email from a special agent dated October 22, 2024, referred to an alleged human trafficking case involving a minor. It stated: '[Redacted] said that she was there when Prince Edward was there and when Tony Hawk got married on the island.'

In an Instagram Story on Thursday, Hawk set the record straight by providing the 'facts and timelines of my nuptials'. He listed his four weddings: to Cindy Dunbar in 1990 at home in Fallbrook, California; to Erin Lee in 1996 at a Hilton hotel in San Diego; to Lhotse Merriam in 2006 on Tavarua Surf Island in Fiji; and to Cathy Goodman in 2015 at Adare Manor in Ireland.

Hawk noted that a guest at his 2006 Fiji wedding, photographer Mark Epstein, took pictures that were licensed to Getty Images. He clarified that this Mark Epstein is 'an accomplished action sports photographer from Wyoming and of no relation to Jeffrey Epstein (who I never met and whose island I never visited).' Hawk added: 'This is all easily verifiable information. Facts are not fungible.'

Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges involving underage girls. His younger brother is also named Mark Epstein.
