The bitter row between Gemma Collins and Sinitta that I'm a Celeb viewers saw unfold on screen has spilled off air. The former TOWIE star posted a video saying: 'Anyone who ever doubted me, said I was never going to be anything... f*** you.'
Trouble began in the pre-recorded series when Sinitta said she assumed Gemma's casting in West End show Chicago was a joke. She said: 'I'm sorry, but I'm going to admit it, when I heard you were going to do it, I thought it was a joke announcement.' She added: 'I think you'd just presented something at an awards show and fell off the stage. It was like you were more of a comedian.'
Gemma's X Factor pals Jedward also joined the row, writing: 'What Sinitta said was unkind and hurtful! Love you Gemma don't ever let anyone put you down.' Sinitta addressed the drama, filmed in South Africa last year, saying that Gemma dropping out of Chicago was the 'gossip' of the West End at the time and insisting the friendly parts of their chat were edited out.
Sinitta said: 'Goodness! I know none of you have ever heard of me before because you are young, if you did you would know I’m a very kind person who would never be horrible to Gemma Collins or anyone else. We actually bonded over discussing Chicago, I didn’t call her a joke, I said I thought the announcement was a joke at the time as I had not been aware that she sang and danced etc.'
