I'm a Celebrity South Africa star Gemma Collins has been branded a 'joke' by campmate Sinitta as a new feud emerges on the ITV reality show. The TOWIE icon is currently participating in the All Stars version of the programme, seeking redemption after leaving her initial series in 2014 after just 72 hours.
In scenes set to air on Thursday night (April 9), Sinitta questions Gemma about her casting in a production of Chicago in 2022. Gemma had pulled out of the tour due to a knee injury, but Sinitta expresses doubt, saying: 'I'm sorry, but I'm going to admit it, when I heard you were going to do it, I thought it was a joke announcement.'
The argument follows a previous clash between Gemma and boxer David Haye over water during an eating trial. Gemma was furious that David did not support her, calling his refusal 'evil'. Adam Thomas tried to mediate, pointing out David's background as a fighter.
Earlier, Gemma had confided in Craig Charles, tearfully saying: 'No one else knows me here and I don't want them to think I'm weak.' Craig advised her to 'just be yourself'. Meanwhile, Beverley Callard warned David about his competitive nature, and Adam suggested he stay away from Gemma.
As tensions rise, Scarlett Moffatt was seen mouthing to Seann Walsh: 'What is happening.' The All Stars camp appears far from harmonious as the series progresses.
