Interior Minister Condemns 'Devastating Blow' to Civilians
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko strongly condemned the attack, describing it as a 'devastating blow' to the civilian population. This event underscores the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis affecting Ukraine amidst the prolonged conflict with Russia.
Separate Nighttime Assault in Odesa Claims More Lives
In a separate and tragic development, a nighttime attack on the southern port city of Odesa caused severe damage to an apartment block. Officials reported that this assault resulted in the deaths of two women and a two-year-old child. The attack has further heightened concerns about civilian safety in urban areas.
Hospitalisations include vulnerable individuals:
- A pregnant woman was among those injured and hospitalised.
- Two children, with the youngest being less than a year old, were also admitted for medical treatment.
- In total, eleven people required hospitalisation following the Odesa incident.
These attacks highlight the escalating toll on civilian lives and infrastructure in Ukraine, as both sides continue to engage in military operations. The international community remains watchful of these developments, calling for increased protection of non-combatants in conflict zones.
