Jen Shah launched a furious attack on Heather Gay during Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, accusing her of betraying their friendship by remaining close to Angie Harrington.
The 49-year-old reality star, who was facing federal fraud charges at the time, confronted Heather, 40, during a group trip to San Diego. The row centred on Heather's decision to invite Angie to her choir auditions, despite Angie's husband allegedly being behind a fake Instagram account that targeted Jen.
'This is what I don't understand,' Jen said. 'If you know someone did something so f***ed up and evil to me and my family, are you okay being friends with them? That's what I need to know.' Heather responded that she could remain friends if the person apologised, but Jen insisted the apology was only made because they were caught.
The argument escalated when Jen demanded Heather end her friendship with Angie. 'You were supposed to be my ride-or-die and guess what those are not ride-or-die f***ing characteristics,' Jen screamed. Heather eventually stormed off, saying, 'Guess what, go find yourself another Heather Gay, I'm out.'
The episode also saw Jen vent about Angie Katsanevas, 48, during a yachting excursion, and express disappointment that Lisa Barlow, 47, was not supporting her. The tension overshadowed the group's attempts to enjoy the boat trip, with Jen telling Lisa, 'She's not your f***ing friend, but do your thing, girl.'
