Perrie Edwards has suggested that her Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock is likely to be cast as a traitor on the upcoming series of Celebrity Traitors. Speaking on the Hanging Out with Ant & Dec podcast, Perrie recalled Leigh-Anne's tendency to lie as part of pranks during their time in the band.
"Oh she is so annoying, I already know she is going to annoy me," Perrie said. She described how Leigh-Anne would lie about silly things and then claim it was a prank, which Perrie found infuriating. She admitted she is unsure if she can watch her do that for an entire series.
Leigh-Anne was announced as part of the celebrity lineup for the BBC show, alongside stars such as Maya Jama, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Michael Sheen, Jerry Hall, Richard E Grant, and Miranda Hart. Other notable names include James Blunt, Bella Ramsey, and comedians James Acaster, Joanne McNally, and Joe Lycett.
Despite her enthusiasm for theorising about her bandmate, Perrie confessed she has never watched Traitors before. "I've never seen it, never! I can't get into it but now I am going to have to because Leigh-Anne's on it," she said.
The celebrity players will be donating any winnings from the potential £100,000 jackpot to their chosen charities. Claudia Winkleman will host the series, selecting the traitors as usual.
