King Charles and Queen Camilla have wrapped up their four-day state visit to the United States, aimed at strengthening transatlantic relations and addressing diplomatic tensions. The final day of the visit featured a farewell at the White House with US President Donald Trump, who lauded Charles as the “greatest king” and announced the removal of US tariffs on UK whisky.
US Visit Highlights
During their time in the US, the royal couple laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery and participated in events in Virginia, including a commemoration of 250 years of American independence. King Charles also delivered a historic address to Congress, emphasising NATO cooperation and continued support for Ukraine.
