EastEnders star Diane Parish has debuted a striking new hairstyle, leaving fans and co-stars amazed by her youthful appearance. The 54-year-old actress, known for playing Denise Fox, shared her new shorter 'do on Instagram, captioning it: “New Barnet. New Me. New D. All I’ll say is continuity is a lady dawg when you’re in a flashforward! Thank you @hairbyprestige and Nathalie and Veronica. Long overdue!”
Her Walford co-stars quickly praised the transformation. Rita Simons, who played Roxy Mitchell, commented: “You know what I’m gonna say don’t u? It’s fk fanthhhhhhhhh!” Patsy Palmer (Bianca Jackson) wrote: “Beautiful woman. Class is class.” Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell) simply said: “Gorgeous!” Fans also reacted enthusiastically, with one writing: “Love it! Yes continuity shoots will be very interesting.” Another joked: “Hopefully nobody will be able to identify you if you accidentally leave it by a dead body!”
The hair change comes as Parish filmed scenes for both the flashforward and Christmas Day episodes following the murder of Keanu Taylor. Her character Denise is now part of 'The Six' covering up the crime. Denise's 'D' necklace was buried with Keanu's body, making her fear she could be blamed if the body is found. Recently, Denise has been struggling with psychosis, hallucinating Keanu, which has led to fan speculation about a possible exit for the character, though nothing has been confirmed by the BBC.
