Davood Ghadami, best known for playing Kush Kazemi on EastEnders, has left fans stunned by displaying his remarkable physique during a charity fitness challenge. The 40-year-old actor, who left the soap in 2021, took to Instagram in November alongside his girlfriend Melanie Barker to document their progress in completing 50 burpees a day for Macmillan Cancer.
In a video, Ghadami began fully clothed but soon removed his top to reveal a toned torso, complete with defined abs. Alongside the clip, he wrote: '2 days in 100 burpees done and already don't want to see another burpee.' The couple launched the challenge, titled '50 Burpees a Day in November,' to raise funds for cancer support.
The actor was forced to address a cheating accusation after sharing romantic holiday snaps with Barker in Greece. One follower commented: 'Unfollowed. Don't like people who cheat on their spouses and break up families.' Ghadami fired back: 'Bye then! I don't want people following me who know nothing.'
Ghadami split from his wife Isobel, whom he married in 2010 and shares two daughters with, after meeting Barker while performing together in a pantomime production of Aladdin. An insider told The Sun: 'There was a lot of flirting backstage... the genie is now well and truly out of the bottle and they are a proper couple.'
This is not the first time Ghadami's personal life has faced scrutiny. During his 2017 stint on Strictly Come Dancing, he was paired with Nadiya Bychkova, sparking rumours of the 'Strictly curse.' At the time, he dismissed the speculation, saying: 'As long as you know the truth and the people you love know the truth.'
