Former world champion boxer David Haye has ignited fresh controversy in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp, engaging in a heated clash with actor Adam Thomas. The camp villain, known for his outspoken views, branded Thomas "useless and lazy" after the actor declined to participate in a trial, citing feelings of unwellness and dehydration.
Explosive Confrontation Erupts
David Haye, 45, refused to back down during the confrontation, laying into Adam Thomas with blunt criticism. In response to Thomas's decision to skip the trial, Haye delivered a blistering verbal assault.
"It would be amazing if you got off your arse and did something instead of just chatting s*** the whole time," Haye declared. "That's what I think would be good. Stop whining about dehydration. You ain't done s*** since you've been here."
Campmates Rally to Adam's Defence
Scarlett Moffatt and Gemma Collins immediately jumped to Adam Thomas's defence, insisting that he was genuinely unwell. However, David Haye remained unimpressed by their intervention and continued his tirade against the actor.
As Adam Thomas attempted to laugh off the situation, Haye added further criticism: "He's a grown ass man. For the first time do something. Why aren't we forcing him? Coincidentally whenever there is something to do he is feeling unwell. I don't like guys when they are a bit useless. He is."
Haye's Controversial Camp Behaviour
David Haye continued to conduct himself in his unique manner throughout the day's events. Later, the entire camp participated in a trial called Balance of Power, which required contestants to balance a ball at the end of a long rod they could hold with both hands. The trial was expected to last many hours.
Remarkably, shortly after the trial began, Haye gave up and walked away, leaving the other celebrities to continue competing. He even went to sleep while the others played on. Eventually, all campmates agreed to let Ashley Roberts win the trial as it was her birthday.
Pattern of Controversial Statements
David Haye has established himself as the most controversial character of this series, having clashed with multiple campmates and expressed numerous strong opinions. Earlier in the series, he made controversial comments about women's appearances and personalities.
"Ugly girls have better personalities than more attractive women," Haye stated, "so people overlook the fact that they're not aesthetically amazing." He went on to add: "Most super pretty girls are just idiots."
Camp Dynamics Shift After Confrontation
Following Adam Thomas's avoidance of the trial, Olympic champion Mo Farah stepped up to participate in Termite Terror, winning an impressive ten out of eleven stars for the camp. This display of commitment stood in stark contrast to the earlier confrontation between Haye and Thomas.
The ongoing tensions within the camp continue to captivate viewers, with David Haye's unfiltered commentary and confrontational style creating dramatic television moments. As the series progresses, camp dynamics remain volatile, with alliances shifting and personalities clashing in the challenging jungle environment.
