Coleen Nolan has revealed she joined Celebs Go Dating despite friends warning her against it. The 61-year-old Loose Women star signed up for the show hoping to find love after two failed marriages and the end of her last known public relationship in 2023.
Speaking on her podcast Nolans Uncensored with her children Shane and Ciara, Nolan said the experience was 'one of the best jobs' she has ever done, despite leaving the show single. She praised her co-stars and the show's agents, but jokingly called narrator Rob Beckett 'vicious'.
Nolan described the series as 'one of the hardest' she has worked on due to 14-15 hour filming days, but said she had 'the best time' with her castmates. However, she admitted the dating side was 'an absolute disaster'.
She explained that every date she went on was from Essex, while she lives in Staffordshire, making it 'too far'. She also noted that she tends to stay friends with everyone, saying: 'I'm definitely not looking for another friend.'
Despite not finding romance, Nolan said the therapy from the show's experts was 'absolutely brilliant' and that she has 'massively changed' from start to end. She remains open to meeting someone but insists she is not desperate.
