David Beckham pays subtle tribute to son Brooklyn despite tattoo cover-up

David Beckham has shared a subtle tribute to his son Brooklyn, shortly after it emerged that Brooklyn had covered up a tattoo of his father’s name amid an ongoing family feud.

The former England footballer posted images on Instagram of his extensive football boot collection, many of which bore the name of his 26-year-old son Brooklyn, along with those of his other children Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

This comes after Brooklyn reportedly had laser treatment to remove a tattoo reading “Dad” on his arm, as well as covering up a chest tattoo dedicated to his mother Victoria and ink on his fingers honouring his siblings.

In a bombshell statement on January 19, Brooklyn accused his parents of controlling narratives in the press and trying to ruin his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz. He claimed he was “standing up” for himself for the first time.

Amid the family drama, sources have said that Brooklyn and Nicola are planning to adopt their first child, wanting to offer a disadvantaged child the best possible life.
