Ashley Roberts Returns to I'm a Celebrity After 14 Years, Reveals Why She Changed Her Mind

Ashley Roberts has confirmed she will return to the I'm a Celebrity jungle for the second season of the All Stars edition, set in South Africa. The Pussycat Dolls singer, who finished as runner-up in 2012, initially rejected the opportunity but later changed her mind.

Speaking on Heart Breakfast, Roberts admitted she had always said 'never' to doing the show again. However, she explained: 'There comes a time when you want to challenge yourself a little bit... I'm going to prove myself I can do some wild things.' She also noted that the live final element, new for this series, was a factor.

The upcoming season features a star-studded line-up including Adam Thomas, Scarlett Moffatt, Beverley Callard, David Haye, Seann Walsh, Craig Charles, Sir Mo Farah, Gemma Collins, Jimmy Bullard, and Harry Redknapp. The public will vote for the ultimate legend in a live final broadcast from London.

Roberts, who now works as a showbiz reporter for Heart Breakfast, said the show 'changed my life' and is 'the reason I'm an adopted Brit'. She praised Adam Thomas as 'so sweet' and Sir Mo Farah, noting the camp 'wouldn't have survived without' his cooking.
