Israeli Woman Miraculously Survives Direct Iranian Missile Impact in Petah Tikva
In a harrowing incident captured on camera, an Israeli woman narrowly escaped death when an Iranian missile landed just yards away from her in the city of Petah Tikva. The footage, taken early this morning around 7am local time, shows the woman exiting a dark grey vehicle and using her phone before glancing upward.
Moment of Impact and Aftermath
Less than a second before the missile struck, the woman can be seen reacting to its approach. The powerful impact threw her violently to the ground as a massive plume of smoke and dust erupted into the air. Despite the proximity of the explosion, she managed to survive the attack and was seen stumbling away from the scene.
Local media reports confirm the woman survived but sustained serious injuries from the blast. Firefighters in Petah Tikva continue to battle vehicle fires and search through rubble to ensure no one remains trapped following the missile strike.
Multiple Attack Sites Across Region
The attack in Petah Tikva was part of a broader Iranian missile barrage targeting multiple locations. In Tel Aviv, a man suffered minor injuries from glass shrapnel and was evacuated to Ichilov Hospital for treatment.
Israel's military issued warnings on Monday morning about additional missile barrages originating from Iran, marking the fourth such alert of the day. Rescue services Magen David Adom and Fire and Rescue reported several sites of Iranian missile impacts in the northern city of Haifa.
Casualties and Damage Assessment
At one site in Haifa, four people sustained minor injuries including two children. The missile attacks struck residential areas and a factory, with the factory damaged by shrapnel from an interception attempt. Video footage from affected sites shows active fires and destroyed vehicles in what appears to be residential neighborhoods.
These latest strikes follow another Iranian attack on Sunday that hit a Haifa residential area, killing two people and injuring others. Two individuals remain missing under rubble from Sunday's strike, with their fate still unknown as search operations continue.
International Impact and Regional Tensions
The conflict extended beyond Israel's borders when authorities in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, reported that a Ghanaian man suffered shrapnel wounds after the interception of an Iranian missile over the city's Musaffah neighborhood. This area is near Al Dhafra Air Base, which hosts US forces and has been repeatedly targeted by Iran during the ongoing conflict.
In a significant development, Iranian state media announced that Major General Majid Khademi, head of intelligence for Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, was killed Monday in an attack targeting him. The Guard blamed the United States and Israel for the assassination.
Khademi had taken over for General Mohammad Kazemi, who was killed by Israel during the 12-day war in June. The Revolutionary Guard's intelligence organization wields substantial power within Iran, answering directly to the country's supreme leader and has been frequently linked to the detention of Western nationals and extraterritorial operations.
Ongoing Rescue Operations
Search and rescue teams continue operations across multiple attack sites with numerous security forces, civil defense units, and fire crews working at scenes following Iran's retaliatory strikes. The situation remains fluid as authorities assess the full extent of damage and casualties from the coordinated missile attacks.
