Victoria Beckham has revealed the secrets to her youthful looks and shared a heartbreaking admission about her self-image. The former Spice Girl, now 52, said she has spent most of her life feeling 'not good enough' and disliking her appearance, but has finally learned to accept herself in her fifth decade.
Speaking on The Beauty Desk podcast, Beckham said: 'I've spent most of my life feeling like I'm not good enough, and not liking how I look, and I think the great thing about getting older is I now accept the way I look.' She added that turning 50 does not mean giving up on looking good: 'You can still look good.'
The fashion designer also discussed her rigorous fitness routine, noting that she exercises more now than in her 20s and 30s. She wakes at 6:15am, often doing a half-hour workout before waking her daughter Harper. She and husband David Beckham frequently work out together after he takes Harper to school.
Beckham emphasised the importance of basics like drinking water, sleeping well, and eating healthily. She is also a fan of lymphatic drainage massage, particularly in Miami, and uses skincare treatments recommended by Kim Kardashian from Israeli facialist Keren Bartov.
Reflecting on her family, Beckham said she feels 'blessed and lucky' to have three sons and a daughter. She encourages all her children to follow their passions and lead by example with a strong work ethic, which she and David demonstrate daily.
