Michelle Pfeiffer looked remarkably youthful at an event in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, defying her 68 years. The acclaimed actress attended the screening of Margo's Got Money Troubles at the Aero Theatre, making a rare public appearance with her husband of 33 years, producer David E. Kelley, 70.
The Secret Behind Her Ageless Appearance
The Maleficent star, who has recently experienced a resurgence with the Taylor Sheridan series The Madison, appeared wrinkle-free with her blonde hair styled in soft waves. Now, sources have revealed her beauty regimen to the Daily Mail.
According to a source, Pfeiffer relies on a dedicated team in Los Angeles, including a facialist, a hair colour expert, and a trainer, all specialising in natural beauty aesthetics. 'She uses all organic products, nothing toxic ever comes near her. She is super careful and reads every label before applying anything to her skin,' the insider disclosed.
Pfeiffer believes that chemical ingredients in beauty products can accelerate aging, so she meticulously checks every product she uses. 'Most facials involve chemical exfoliants, serums, and peels with glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid, but Michelle won't use those,' the source added.
Organic Lifestyle Extends to Diet
Her commitment to organic living also encompasses her diet. 'She won't have anything processed or that has involved antibiotics or GMOs,' the source explained. All her food—fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds—must be certified organic, demanding 100% transparency even for a simple apple.
Even her own perfume line, Henry Rose, is made with 100% natural ingredients, free from endocrine disruptors and carcinogens.
No Magic Bullet
Despite her meticulous routine, Pfeiffer insisted in 2021 that there is no secret to her youthful looks. Appearing on Lorraine, she stated, 'It's what nobody really wants to hear—you have to eat right, you have to exercise, you have to sleep. We're always looking for that cheating magical bullet, but it's not right.'
She acknowledged that when she is not working or indulging in wine, her appearance shows it. 'So that's the big secret—there's no secret!'
On Wednesday, Pfeiffer looked chic in a semi-sheer chocolate brown sweater and skirt set, paired with dark brown pointed pumps, while arm in arm with her husband Kelley, a producer on Big Little Lies. The couple has been married since 1993.
