Christopher Schwarzenegger, the 28-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has revealed a striking transformation in new family photos. The youngest Schwarzenegger sibling was pictured in a red tank top, showcasing a noticeably more muscular frame after shedding over 100 pounds in the past five years.
The photos were taken during the family's Fourth of July celebrations, shared by his sister Katherine Schwarzenegger. The post featured Christopher alongside siblings Patrick, Christina, and Katherine, as well as their mother Maria and other relatives. Christopher previously appeared in a beach photo in April 2026, further highlighting his weight loss progress.
Christopher opened up about his journey at the Inaugural Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in May 2025, revealing that he started in 2019 while living in Australia. He explained that his excess weight prevented him from completing bucket-list activities like skydiving, which prompted him to make a change. His initial step was giving up bread during Lent, resulting in a 30-pound loss, and he later incorporated strength training, hiking, and walking into his routine.
Despite his impressive progress, Christopher admitted he does not yet consider himself an 'after' photo, noting that his transformation took years of trial and error. His father, Arnold, praised his son's self-discipline, saying he always hoped Christopher would make the decision himself—and he did.
