A woman who once identified as an atheist claims she experienced Heaven and witnessed a series of alarming future events during a harrowing near-death experience, issuing a stark warning to the world.
A Dinner Party Turns Deadly
Heather Mae was enjoying an evening with friends at a dinner party in Vancouver, Canada, when she began to feel an unusual tightness in her chest. Concerned, her then-fiancé rushed her to the hospital. However, during the journey, she suffered a massive pulmonary embolism – a life-threatening blockage in the lung's artery.
Heather describes being consumed by an impenetrable darkness. "It was a black like you’d never seen - it was pitch black," she recounted on the Shaman Oaks podcast. "This darkness came in until there was just a small, tiny little hole. That was all I could see out of, until even that was gone."
Comfort in the Void
Despite the profound blackness, Heather says she felt an unexpected sense of peace. "Now I’m in pitch blackness. Call it the abyss or the void... but it was so comfortable there," she explained. She felt as though she was floating in a vast, silent space with no boundaries, comparing the sensation to being alone on a tranquil lake.
This serene state was interrupted by the appearance of a distant pinprick of light, which rapidly expanded into what she perceived as a tunnel swirling with shades of grey and bright sparks. Heather felt herself begin to ascend towards it.
Confronting the Afterlife and a Golden Orb
Upon emerging, Heather claims she was met by a gathering of roughly 100 people, including her great-grandparents, aunt, uncle, and other departed relatives. It was her great-grandmother who delivered the shocking news: "Heather, you have died."
It was then, Heather says, she became aware of an "incredible light" that was "loving beyond what we could imagine." During this encounter, she was handed a golden orb. Within it, she was shown a devastating montage of human conflict throughout history.
A Chilling Prophecy for Humanity
The visions within the orb did not stop at the past. Heather says she was shown glimpses of the future, which she describes as holding "lots of civil wars dotted all over…lots of starvation."
She described seeing people who were "desperate to be heard, seen, desperate to be as much of a priority as anyone else," leading to widespread marches and anger. "Then it’s all kind of where we are right now," she added, drawing a parallel to current global tensions.
Her experience has led her to issue a direct warning. She insists that for humanity to progress, "we’ve got to shed our beliefs about other cultures, our beliefs about other people." Her near-death journey, from atheism to a profound spiritual encounter, now forms the basis of her urgent message for unity and understanding.
