American Idol's Jax Shows Daughter in New Campaign Against Child Hunger
American Idol's Jax Shows Daughter in Anti-Hunger Campaign

American Idol veteran Jax has been busy at home. The 29-year-old singer, who debuted her hit song Victoria's Secret four years ago, welcomed her first child a year ago. She is now a proud mother to daughter Charlotte Good, whom she shares with her husband, Brave Gregg.

First Look at Daughter

This week the songbird shared a first look at her little girl in a cute photo shoot with dad. And she had a good reason to feature her kid: the family has partnered with StarKist and Feed the Children to support the Put Child Hunger to Bed campaign. The program is helping raise awareness and encourage simple, everyday actions to provide meals for children who need them the most.

New Jingle and Sweet Video

Jax also had fun singing a new jingle for the brand that she shared with fans on Instagram. In a sweet video, she sings the song then says she has a 'surprise' at the end. Later, dad is seen holding onto their child in the background.

Jax's Personal Life

Jax married Brave — a director, photographer and editor — in 2023 in a romantic Scottsdale, Arizona wedding. She told People: 'We were best friends first, accidental business partners in life and creative soulmates of each other.' They were surrounded by 300 friends and family and Brave admitted: 'We were toying with the idea of doing something very private and then decided that we met so many amazing people over the last two years of our lives, that we wanted to celebrate with everyone and have a blowout and throw a big party for everyone.'

Rise to Fame

The singer, whose real name is Jacqueline Cole Miskanic Gregs, used to wear her hair blonde. Jax came to fame in 2015 when she competed on the fourteenth season of American Idol. She auditioned with the song I Want to Hold Your Hand by The Beatles. She sang Toxic by Britney Spears for her first solo audition during Hollywood Week, and sang The Beatles' Let It Be for her final solo performance. Then she belted out Janis Joplin's Piece of My Heart with Steven Tyler during the show's season finale.

Music Career Highlights

In January 2021, she signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. And she had a smash hit in 2022 with the single, Victoria's Secret, which reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was inspired by a girl Jax was babysitting who wanted her to write a song about body positivity that could inspire young girls. Her debut studio album, Dear Joe, was released on Atlantic Records in June 2024. Her next single, Cinderella Snapped, debuted and then she joined Simple Plan on their Australian tour.
