Co-host Ben Shephard and Cat welcomed Donal to the kitchen, with Cat mentioning he would be sharing his banoffee pie recipe. However, Donal quickly called out Cat's cheeky behaviour, revealing she had dipped a Biscoff biscuit into the mixture and taken a bite. 'You are a dirtbag,' he said.
Feigning indignation, Cat left the set, exclaiming 'Bye, bye everybody' as the programme cut to commercials. Ben and Donal were left laughing at the playful exchange.
Earlier this month, This Morning faced complaints after Nigel Farage appeared on the show following Donald Trump's inauguration. Viewers expressed fury on social media, with one calling his appearance 'FFS' and another noting the irony of his presence during Chinese New Year.
