Brad Pitt, 60, appeared at the Venice Film Festival this week looking youthful as ever, sparking renewed speculation about cosmetic surgery. Experts have pointed to 'tell-tale signs' that the actor may have undergone a facelift costing over £100,000.
Dr Jonny Betteridge analysed photographs of Pitt taken three years apart and noted 'significant' changes, saying the actor appeared to get younger over time. Cosmetics expert Dr Arun Narang told The Mirror that Pitt has 'probably had a facelift', citing fewer lines around his mouth and eyes and a scar near the ear where skin is typically tightened.
However, other specialists have suggested that Pitt's appearance could be due to good skincare and sun protection. Dr Costas Papageorgiou stated in 2020 that Pitt 'truly looks after himself' and shows a 'lack of botox or visible surgery'. Laura Kay, a cosmetics specialist, speculated that Pitt may have had subtle tweakments such as botox and face peels.
Pitt has never publicly confirmed having any cosmetic procedures. The actor officially confirmed his relationship with jewellery designer Ines de Ramon, 34, at the festival.
