Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has been urged by fans to slow down after revealing she ruptured tissue following her fourth breast augmentation procedure. The 45-year-old mother-of-five disclosed that doctors have ordered her to rest after complications arose from not taking sufficient recovery time following her initial surgery in August.
Fans Express Concern Over Recovery
Social media platforms have been flooded with messages of concern from worried followers. One Facebook user commented: "Such a pretty face! Hopefully she didn't get an infection with the surgery, then she would really be in trouble." Another supporter added: "She's no need for surgery, I hope she can recover and have some down time."
The celebrity had undergone an uplift and new implants in August, but just two months later revealed she needed further corrective surgery due to scar tissue damage. In her column, Kerry explained: "I ruptured the tissue after having breast implants, because I didn't rest enough when I had the implants put in in the first place."
Friends Fear Surgery Addiction Pattern
Close friends have expressed concerns that Kerry might be following in the footsteps of her pal Katie Price, known for her extensive cosmetic surgery history. A source revealed: "Kerry has had a lot of surgery and now people are worried she's going down the same route as Katie Price."
The insider added that Kerry's workaholic nature might be contributing to the problem: "She should be resting, like all the doctors have told her to, but as she says, she's got a big family and bills to pay. If you know Kerry, she's never going to sit still."
Kerry's children - Molly, 24, Lilly-Sue, 22, Heidi, 18, Max, 17, and 11-year-old DJ - have also voiced their worries about their mother undergoing further procedures. "They don't want her to have surgery," the source confirmed. "She's a mum and, you know, with every anaesthetic there is a risk."
Despite these concerns, Kerry's boyfriend Paolo Margaglione remains supportive of her decisions. The 34-year-old personal trainer, who met Kerry on Celebs Go Dating, "adores Kerry and is very supportive of her work" according to insiders.
A representative for Kerry has stated that the star hasn't been working since her surgery and has taken needed time off, adding that "Kerry isn't planning on having anymore surgery at this moment and would not be influenced by anyone to have any more surgery."
